The A’ Design Mission And A+ Vision

The A’ Design Award & Competition was developed after a scientific research study based on prior analysis of 1,000 other design competitions as well as ethnographic research and survey of over 500 designers and brands who take part in design competitions. The award is organized by OMC Design Studios SRL and its spinoffs and has earned the patronage of the following institutions: Como Cultural Department, The Bureau of European Design Associations. The competition aims to highlight, advertise advocate good design, designers and design oriented companies. As well as to channel the attention of press, interactive medias, design critics, distributors and buyers to the award winner.
The mission of the A’ Award and Competition is to provide a fair, ethical and competitive platform for companies, designers and innovators from all design fields with different experience levels, diverse disciplines and market focus to compete on, while providing them a global audience to showcase their success and talents to. The A’ Fashion Mission And Your Vision

The A’ International Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Awards is a two-phase competition. The first phase of the competition is free to join, Fashion Designers, Fashion Brands, Stylists, Couturiers, Fashion Houses, Tailors, Outfitters and Garment Manufacturers can register at A’ Design Awards to submit a work for the Fashion Awards, and get a preliminary score for their projects. Projects that pass the preliminaries can proceed with nomination, however it shall be noted in advance that there is a nominal fee for nominating entries for Fashion Awards consideration.

The deadline for entries in the A’ Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Awards is on February 28, 2019. Results of the A’ Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Awards will be announced on April 15, 2019. Laureates of the A’ Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Awards will be granted the highly coveted A’ Design Prize which contains a series of PR, marketing and publicity tools to celebrate the status of winning the Fashion Awards.

China Fashion, Design and Urban Culture Groupie, Editor-in-Chief at Temper Magazine
Temper Magazine Founder and Editor-in-Chief Elsbeth van Paridon holds a degree in Sinology from the University of Leiden (Netherlands) and additionally is just another run-of-the-mill fashion aficionada.

After tackling Beijing for some six years where she worked for China International Publishing Group, she spent a moment in time moseying down steep alleyways and writing about their fashionable and underground features in Hong Kong.

Van Paridon most recently managed to claw her way through a Europe-based academic endeavor called "Journalism". 'Tis in such fashion that she has now turned her lust for China Fashion/ Lifestyle and Underground into a full time occupation.

Van Paridon hunts down the latest in Chinese menswear, women’s clothing, designer newbies, established names, changes in the nation’s street scenery, close-ups of particular trends presently at play or of historical socio-cultural value in Chinaplus a selection of budding photographers.

Paired with a deep devotion to China’s urban underground scene, van Paridon holds a particular interest in the topics of androgyny, the exploration of individuality and the power that is the Key Opinion Leader (the local term for “influencers”) in contemporary China.
